How to maintain natural ventilation when installing an extractor hood over the stove

Do you know the situation: put a hood over the stove and get mold and condensation on the windows and walls? It would seem illogical. But it happens everywhere. The reason - in the wrong installation of the pipe from the hood.
The kitchen is a source of accumulation of a lot of moisture and harmful substances. And especially when cooking. To prevent this moisture from entering the apartment and causing condensation and mold, it must be removed quickly.

To speed up this process during cooking is used kitchen hood, which is installed above the stove and all the excess moisture from your culinary creativity fan removes into the ventilation shaft.

So, when the hood is on, it's great at getting steam and odors out. But if it's off, you've stopped cooking, all the vapors from the kettle, from life's activities, go upstairs. If the ventilation hole is completely closed by the corrugated pipe from the hood, the "exhaust" air is not removed.
So, by blocking the exhaust port with the pipe from the hood completely, you get a situation where your exhaust ventilation (meaning the exhaust ventilation system connected to the ventilation shafts in the whole house) works only when you are cooking, including the hood over the stove. That is 2 hours a day. All the rest of the time - the air is not removed from the apartment at all. This can cause: mold, condensation on the windows, stuffiness.

It should be understood that the vento-holes in the kitchen and bathrooms are the points of air intake of all the exhaust air in your apartment, through them there is a draft from all the rooms. They are needed not only when you are cooking or bathing, but also when you are just breathing and moving around. Ventilation should always be working.
How can this situation be changed?
The first option:
Install a dual grille. The first part: a corrugated pipe is put on through the adapter and takes out air, odors when the hood is on. The lower part is a regular grille, through which the air is exhausted independently of the kitchen ventilation hood. When buying a double grille, it is important to remove the fine mosquito net from the inside because it gets dirty quickly and will need to be cleaned every 2 weeks.
The second option:
Install a gravity check valve:
Air flow directed from the room pressurizes the damper sash and opens it to allow air to pass through. If there is no movement or in the event of a back draft, there will be no pressure on the sash and it will close due to gravity. The check damper prevents the air that is exhausted by the hood probe above the stove from flowing back into the room. The damper blade, installed with an offset axis, opens when the cooker hood is switched off and closes when the cooker hood is switched on.
It is also important to remember that when you turn on the kitchen hood above the stove, you should always open a window. At least in micro-ventilation mode. This is necessary so that the ventilation shafts of the whole house do not overturn (if this happens - you will get all the smells from the neighbors). This is rarely warned by installers, but all ventilation specialists know about it.
